Of course, a winter vacation to Colorado would not be complete without taking advantage of snowmobile trails located right here in Rifle. Whether you are visiting during the summer or winter seasons, the Rifle area has many trails to explore with a motorized sports vehicle. Volunteers each year grooms miles of trails for snowmobiling on within the White River National Forest. Other popular snowmobile trails that can be accessed near Rifle are: Grand Mesa, Grass Mesa, the Roan Cliff's, East & West Divide Creek, Coulter Lake Mesa and at many more.
(Out-of-State residences must also purchase a "Out-of-State" snowmobile permit)
